Josie Withers specialises in food and lifestyle photography. She is capturing through images the experience of the faces and food of the region and taking the reader on a journey.
The images will be shot in a documentary fashion, showcasing the venues, food and people behind the businesses.
Josie has been shooting domestically and internationally for more than eight years. She has extensive experience in local food and beverage advertising, including (inter-) national campaigns for Visit Victoria and the South Australian Tourism Commission. Josie also holds a Masters’ degree in Gastronomic Tourism from Le Cordon Bleu.
Writer and Editor
Heather Millar is writing the stories behind the faces, to go with the recipes and photographs. This consists of a brief description of the business and/or its owner, what’s unique about the business, why they are passionate about what they do, and a ‘hot tip’ about the business/product. The aim is to be engaging and descriptive in a short space, and to showcase in words the variety and quality of the ‘Faces and Food’.
Heather brings over 20 years of passion and experience as a writer and editor to the party. Publications she has written for, or edited, include: Fleurieu Living magazine, The Food and Wine Lover’s Guide to the Great Ocean Road, Uncorked (the quarterly wine magazine featured in the Advertiser and Sydney Morning Herald), and the SA Wine & Food Guide.
