Featuring a tantalising tapestry of flavour, South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula offers some of Australia’s finest food, lovingly produced by some of its most fascinating locals. Eighty prominent food producers and chefs between Port Noarlunga and Cape Jervis are showcased in our 200+ page hardcover book, along with their story and favourite recipes and tips and complemented by stunning photographs.

Faces and Food of the Fleurieu is printed by Adelaide’s very own Newstyle Print Media and was launched in October 2018 at the Fleurieu Art House in McLaren Vale. Distribution commenced in Spring 2018 through featured businesses, local tourist hubs, cafes, restaurants, bookstores and airports Australia-wide.

our crowdfunding journey

Faces and Food of the Fleurieu is a self-published cookbook, partially funded by Le Cordon Bleu Australia and an awesome crowdfunding campaign. In April 2018, our crowdfunding campaign was launched and with a strong community of support behind us, we reached our target goal and were able to go to print. Above, is our Beanpole Productions video used to promote the campaign. A special thank you to everyone who pre ordered a copy, because of you we were able to make Faces and Food of the Fleurieu come alive.
